Project Cargo

Horizon Project Cargo specialises in the planning, coordination and transportation of complex, oversized and high-value project cargo for construction, oil and gas, power and energy, mining, manufacturing and infrastructure.

We manage every stage of the logistics process — route planning and feasibility studies, heavy-lift transportation, customs clearance, warehousing and final delivery. Where the shipment needs sea, air, road or rail in combination, we execute the whole chain with a strong focus on safety, efficiency and cost control.

Our capabilities include heavy machinery, industrial equipment, turbines, transformers, generators, steel structures, modular units and other out-of-gauge cargo. Working with a trusted global network of carriers and partners, every project is planned and executed to meet strict schedules and operational requirements.

Planned before quoted

Route, permits and equipment are checked first, so the price you approve is the price that survives.

Safety first

Method statements and risk assessments prepared for lifts and site moves.

Schedule discipline

Cargo staged and released to match the construction programme, not the shipping line.

Partner network

Trusted carriers and agents at each node, coordinated by one project lead here.

Common questions

How early should I involve you in a project?

As early as the tender or design stage. Dimensions that look harmless on a drawing can double the transport cost — knowing that early often changes the design or the supplier, and saves far more than the freight.

Can you handle customs clearance for project equipment?

Yes, including temporary imports, re-exports, bonding and approvals from the relevant authorities. Our customs team has over 15 years of combined clearance experience.
